Alpha Xi Delta

Kappa Gamma at University of South Carolina

Letter From Membership Vice President

Hello Potential New Members,

My name is Olivia Riddle and I am serving as the Membership Vice President for the Kappa Gamma chapter of Alpha Xi Delta. I am beyond excited to fulfill this role and be able to meet each and every one of you!

Alpha Xi Delta’s motto is “realize your potential” and I feel through my time in the chapter I have lived within that motto. We push our sisters to be not only the best version of themselves, but to step out of their comfort zone. Our chapter strives to  meet our core values, which are leadership, knowledge, sisterhood, and service. Being a member of Alpha Xi Delta not only helps you to “realize your potential”, but to spare no effort in becoming an ideal member of society.

Joining Greek Life was definitely a scary event for me. I never saw myself as a sorority girl, but decided to try it out. Trying it out was the best decision of my life. Through my time in Alpha Xi Delta I have had a sisterhood who truly lives up to the motto of helping each other “realize your potential.” During my time in the chapter I have served as the External Philanthropy Director, Philanthropy Vice President, and now I am serving as th eMembership Vice President. As a girl who was scared of going through recruitment, I never imagined I would serve in so many leadership positions within a chapter. During recruitment you begin to feel a lot of emotions at once, like excitement and nervousness, but every single emotion is so worth it. My biggest advice I can give through those going through recruitment is ENJOY IT! Get to know the people in your Pi Chi groups and the girls you have conversations with. No matter where you end up you will make friends for a lifetime! Going through recruitment is a great experience so try to make the most of it!
