Alpha Xi Delta

Kappa Gamma at University of South Carolina

Letter From Membership Vice President

Hello Potential New Members,

My name is Gillian Golupski and I am serving as the Membership Vice President for the Kappa Gamma chapter of Alpha Xi Delta. I am super excited to serve this role and be able to meet each and every one of you!

Alpha Xi Delta’s motto is “realize your potential” and I feel that our chapter has helped me to do just that. We push our sisters to explore all of the vast parts of life out of their comfort zones and become the best versions of themselves. Our chapter strives to meet our core values, which are leadership, knowledge, sisterhood, and service. All of our core values encourage and challenge us daily to be the best sisters we can to one another. Being a member of Alpha Xi Delta not only helps you to “realize your potential”, but to spare no effort in becoming an ideal member of society.

Joining Greek Life was something that I never thought I would do in my college years. Here I am, roughly a year after going through Spring Recruitment, and I am the happiest I have ever been. Through my time in Alpha Xi Delta I have had a sisterhood who truly lives up to the motto of helping each other “realize your potential.” This is my first major position in this chapter and I have never been more honored and excited for something in my life. As a girl who was nervous of going through recruitment, I never imagined I would serve in a leadership position within a chapter. During the recruitment process you begin to feel so many emotions at once, excitement, nervousness, and everything in between, but every single emotion is so worth it. My biggest advice I can give through those going through recruitment is to have fun and embrace the moment! Get to know as many people as you can, the people in your Pi Chi groups and the girls you have conversations with. No matter where you end up, you will make friends and memories for a lifetime! Recruitment is a once in a life-time experience so make the most of it!

XOXi,

Gillian
